Jessica is the owner of WAHI Studio located in Newfane, New York (https://www.wahistudio.org/home) She is an independent artist specializing in murals and chalk art. She also does pet portraits during the fall and winter seasons and offers classes and open studio time with membership and walk in opportunities. Jessica started teaching a few years back out of different coffee shops and ended up opening WAHI Studio as a nonprofit in August of 2020. Jessica stresses the importance of art and how it impacts our emotional and mental health, especially for kids and is looking for donations and funders to help start after school art clubs so it can be no cost to the students. Her classes are therapeutic in nature. WAHI Studios is also hosting the first ever Newfane Chalk Festival June 12 and 13th, 2021 as well as the fourth annual Olcott Chalk Festival on August 21st, 2021.
