I will be the first to admit that I was a little jittery when I was waiting to board the helicopter. The entire facility seems to buzz with excitement! You are given a quick briefing while you await your flight (stuff that even I could remember). Then the helicopter lands and you climb on board. As I was being strapped in the adrenaline took over, and any fear that I had was washed away. Upon ascent you take a quick turn over the gorge where you begin to realize just how amazing this journey will be. The next 10 minutes are filled with amazing views that I never realized were possible. I grew up near to Niagara Falls and have seen it hundreds of times, today the view I saw literally took my breath away!! The photo opportunities abound, I was taken aback by the beauty of this natural wonder and its surroundings. This is truly a bucket list item! As you are flying by the falls you can see tourists from around the globe on The Maid of The Mist or The Cave of The Winds, realizing you have the most amazing view of anyone. My favorite part of the trip was when the pilot winds his way back to the landing pad, not unlike a race car
