Our trip to Larkin Square started at the Buffalo Distilling Company, where we were greeted warmly by Christina. As I began to enjoy my drink (The Larkinvillage Idiot) I inquired about the history of the company. Christina was more than happy to share the interesting history of the company along with some cool facts about the building. Buffalo Distilling Company has live entertainment weekly along with a welcoming spirit. I would highly recommend.
Then it was off to the Flying Bison Brewing Company. The interior is set up in a cafeteria style with a long bar (my favorite part). The employees were attentive and knowledgeable about what they were serving. There is quite a large picnic area outside so you can enjoy your food or beverage while communing with nature.
Hydraulic Heart was our next stop, where there outdoor area beckoned to us. To call this area a patio is a wild understatement. There is an outdoor bar, along with enough activities to keep you busy until you have to call an Uber to get home! The activities will keep your attention, while their attentive staff gives you theirs. I can't wait to go back and try their wood fired pizza!
What would Food Truck Tuesday be without food trucks? We then stumbled over to Larkin Square where there was live entertainment, plenty of seating area, and food trucks galore! The band was lively and kept the crowd entertained within the flurry of activity around them. The seating is ample with plenty of room for you to bring your own lawn chairs to enjoy some great food and entertainment. The food trucks not only served up great food, but also cool names. Here are just a few of my favorites, The Cheesy Chick, Dirty Bird Chicken N' Waffles, (and my absolute favorite) Thai Me Up. Certainly worth the trip!
If you are looking for something to do in Buffalo, I would certainly recommend this area any day of the week. However, I would say Tuesday is my favorite!
