The dreaded cold and flu season is looming over all of our heads and we are just waiting for impact… but what if I told you there was a way to help prevent and fight the viruses we all hate. Using essential oils regularly is a must for anyone who wants an all natural method to combat pesky airborne illnesses. Personally, I use my trusty essential oil diffuser with a special blend of 3 drops peppermint, 1 drop lavender, and 1 drop eucalyptus to help get rid of nasal congestion during the dead of winter. Another oil I use after a long day is chamomile. Chamomile helps me feel soothed and relaxed along with contributing to a restful night of sleep.
Along with essential oil diffusers, I also love the lavender shower fizzies from Buff City Soap. The calming scent is perfect after a long day and it fills your shower with complete bliss. Shower fizzies are my new go to for an easy essential oil filled night. They have multiple scents that should help anyone in their search for the perfect aromatherapy shower.
I was also able to get some photographs of the process of making the Buff City Soap bath bombs. These bath bombs are addicting! They have scents for all ages, but most importantly, they have calming essential oil bombs that I use prectically every night. Watching the workers make the bath bombs from all natural products is a relief since I strive to be as natural as possible with hygiene care. The bath bombs are made with simple products I have seen around my house along with high quality essential oils. My love for Buff City Soap grew when I saw a care package that was specifically made for the cold and flu season. Having eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils infused into the products was especially pleasing to see.
As you can tell, getting into essential oils is not as difficult as it appears to be. Just figure which essential oil will benefit your needs and the rest is history. Whether your oil is lavender, chamomile, or eucalyptus, you will find one that fits you. Seeing businesses in 716 getting into more natural alternatives is an amazing sight. Now, the real question is, what essential oil will be your savior during this winter season?
